My inaugural post. I'll keep this short on text and will offer a link (at least I hope it will be a link) to this lovely web site for knitting-related rubber art stamps (of all things) that I just stumbled across. Also, a photo of a recently completed project.The sweater is based on a pattern called Pixie, by Amy Anderson, with some modifications. I added a simple cat's paw lace pattern around the bottom of the sweater, used the contrasting yarn for the edging on the bottom and cuffs, added a crochet edge around the collar to give it a more finished look, and left off a flower applique. This is modeled by the recipient, my six year old daughter. I'm reasonably happy with it except for the neckline. The first button should be closer to the top. She loves it, though.
